What is your blog about?

My blog is mainly about mental health, but I do write pieces based on student life.

When did you first start blogging?

April 2016, but stopped due to mental health issues, then resumed in August 2016.

What is your motivation behind blogging?

I want to be able to provide some sort of help to those who are struggling with mental health. If they feel like they can’t approach a medical professional, I hope that my blog gives them the confidence to do so. I also want to provide a ‘safe space’ for people, so they feel that they’re not alone in their struggles and worries.

What do you find most challenging about blogging?

Sometimes if my mental health isn’t good, I do take breaks from blogging. Getting into the swing isn’t the hardest thing in the world, but it does feel like I’ve missed a bit of what’s been going on.

What is your top tip for someone looking to start a blog?

Don’t be disheartened if it starts off slow. We’ve all been there and we know how it feels, so you’re not alone! Keep going and do what you love!

What is the best thing a blogger can give to its reader?

The best thing a blogger can give to its reader is the respect they deserve to be treated as a human, and to not be horrible, offensive or rude. Kindness isn’t hard to share.

What do you do when you’re not blogging?

I continue my university studies, hang out with friends, play video games, or watch things on YouTube or Netflix.
